2nd grade enjoyed learning about the Wetlands and learning about the American Avocet bird which migrates to our local Quivera and Cheyenne Bottoms! We were blessed to have a visit from Mandy Kern who wrote the book “Ava- A year of adventure with an American Avocet” and shared some special insects from Cheyenne Bottoms.

A BIG Trojan Nation shout out to the City of Stafford, for purchasing and installing our
new cross-walk stop sign. Mr Bob has done a great job keeping students and staff safe! We appreciate him making sure vehicles stop while pedestrians are in the cross-walk, and sharing his smile with everyone that drives by!



It was a great night for our Trojan middle school volleyball team! “A”team won against Fairfield in 2 games & came up short against Norwich. Our 6th graders won in 2 games against Norwich! Thanks to all our fans cheering us on, we had amazing (and loud!) support!!


Reminder! Today at Trojan Nation we have an early release! Students will be dismissed at 12:20.

Deliveries are getting hard to predict these days! We will not be able to serve Cinnamon Rolls tomorrow. Instead we will be having our mini chocolate or powdered sugar donut packages.

In honor of National Food Bank day, September 3rd, Mrs. Minks pre k collected food items from our families and friends! Today we were able to deliver them to our local food bank and give back to the community we love!





It's the first home games of the season this afternoon. MS volleyball starts at 3:00 and MS football at 4:30. Then, at 7:00 this evening, our HS football team takes on the Fairfield Falcons.

Our Marketing Essentials students designed books explaining the differences between wants and needs and how they pertain to the economy. They then read them to younger students and led some very interesting discussions.



There has been a change in tonight's volleyball. We will play Cunningham JV at 4:00. Then we will play the best out of 5 following the JV match.


High school volleyball travels to Cunningham this afternoon. Our JV will play Cunningham at 4:00. Varsity volleyball starts at 6:00, and Stafford has the last 2 games.


Reminder - There is a Junior Parent's Meeting in the high school commons at 7:30 pm, tonight.

Culinary 1 Classes are learning the essential knife skills, creating Rondelle, Diagonal, Batonnet, Julienne, Brunoise, Chiffonade, Small, Medium, and Large Dice, as well as slicing/dicing onion and mincing garlic. To utilize many of our practice cuts, it's an annual tradition to prepare Cheesy Potato Soup.


HS volleyball scrimmage tonight from 5:30-6:30.


Stafford High School volleyball travels to South Barber tomorrow for their first event of the season. It is a quad with Attica, South Barber, Skyline, and Stafford. Start time is 10:00am. The order of play is:

The high school football team is participating in the Jamboree at Greensburg this evening against Kiowa County and Ingalls. The event starts at 7:00pm. The rotation is as follows:

Students in Culinary Arts II, Baking and Pastries, and one Culinary Applications class prepared Bread Bowls to enjoy with their Cheesy Potato Soup which we make annually to use our vegetables that we cut during our Knife Skills Review.
