Hi families! We are already thinking ahead to next year, and some of you may receive an email about the SPIRSS Program. This email will come from Qualtrics or "WSU School Psychology" and may go to spam so please check your spam folder! The subject will read "Parent Consent" or "Stafford Schools - Consent Required". As a reminder, each semester teachers complete the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk screener (SAEBRs) for each of their students. Middle/high school students also have the opportunity to complete one for themselves. This gives us a snapshot of how students are doing and if they might need some additional support in different areas. The SPIRSS Program aims to provide students support in those areas. You can find more information about the SAEBRs (teacher completed version) here: https://www.illuminateed.com/products/fastbridge/social-emotional-behavior-assessment/saebrs/ You can also find more information about the mySAEBRs (student completed version) on our website here (also included in enrollment packets): https://www.stafford349.com/documents/student-data-collection/509980

The character trait for May is Initiative-seeing what needs to be done and doing it. Our students at Trojan Nation show initiative everyday. These kiddos took home the award this month...
