Twice in one week our community blessed our classroom. The yearbook staff is doubly grateful! Thank you to Mrs. Kim Fritzemeier for her patience, grace and perseverance in sharing her talent and skill with us. We are excited to take her lessons about perspective and composition out into the field as we practice our photography techniques.

While all of the students of Stafford Elementary and Stafford Early Learning Center strive to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize our potential, each month teachers are nominating a “STAR” student. What is a “STAR” student you ask? A “STAR” student is safe, thoughtful, and respectful but has also been seen showing exemplary effort in demonstrating the specific character focus for the month! In August the character focus was WISDOM. Students learned that wisdom means, “finding out what you should do and doing it!” Congratulations to these STAR students in August whose teachers saw wisdom in- Tucker Mason, Maggie Thrasher, Thomas Russel, Ava Hacking, Nora Trotta, Eli Vetter, and Paige Hacking!

Culinary I classes practiced their Recipe Reading and Accurate Measurement after learning about them over the past week. Wednesday they prepared Pumpkin Whoopie Pies - they not only look delicious, they taste wonderful as well! We're certain this fall-inspired dessert is what brought the beautiful fall temperatures to our area this week!
We at Stafford 349 are so blessed in our community. The yearbook staff is very grateful to Mrs. Austin for generously sharing her time and expertise this morning. We learned a lot about camera settings and how to utilize them to our advantage. #OneTownOneTeamOneFamily

Middle School volleyball played South Barber tonight at Fairfield. “A” team lost in two, while “B” team won in 2!
This Friday's HS football game vs. Peabody has been postponed until Monday, September 20, 2021 at 6:00pm.
Our high school marketing students are learning about the Introduction Phase of a product life cycle by creating their own branded yogurt. They've created concept sheets and used those to conduct market research. Their classmates, as well as faculty and staff were willing participants in the "research."
September is National Suicide Prevention Month and it is ALL of our responsibilities to help prevent youth suicide, not only this month, but EVERY month. Check out the attached images for some tips and resources on how to become a stronger part of these prevention efforts!
