At last night's board of education meeting, the board voted to open graduation to anyone who would like to attend. There will be no restrictions for the day.

Our 2021 Field Day events will be different this year! Coach Villy’s done a makeover to the schedule and eleven activities the students will compete in. It will be a half day event for K-1-2 in the morning; 3-4-5 will compete in the afternoon, and it will NOT be on the track and field
.
With safety in mind, we will limit each student to a maximum of two visitors per child. We ask that you RSVP to your child’s classroom teacher by Thursday, May 13th in order to help us plan for how many adults will be added to our events that morning and afternoon. Also, lunch will not be offered for our visitors. You’ll need to sign in the building at the elementary entrance so we can do a quick temp check and give you a map of the events.
Please be aware that if the weather permits, some of the events will be inside the building. In the event of rainy weather, all activities will be moved indoors. Remember, that visitors to our building are asked to wear a mask/face covering. For the outdoor events, masks are not required.
We want you to come and be involved with your child(ren)’s events if you are able! Again, help us know how many to expect for the K-1-2 /AM and 3-4-5/PM sessions, so we may keep track who will be in attendance in case of the need for contact tracing.

Stafford Elementary School Redesign Update
Although COVID guidelines and procedures have put a damper on nearly every aspect of life in some way or another, Stafford Elementary continues to adapt, initiate, and implement new ideas during our Launch Year. With restrictions starting to lessen, we look forward to seeing more family and community faces in our hallways again. If you would like to become actively involved in Stafford Schools and contribute to our redesign efforts, serve on our Elementary Site Council, or have any questions, please call the elementary office. 620-234-5255. We would LOVE to hear from you.

Congrats to our students who were recognized for their efforts on Peace: Proving you care more about each other than winning an argument. Its a hard one that we continue to work on beyond the month of April. #charactermatters #relationships
