Hooray! We have all survived the first week of school! Now that we are getting all settled in, we would like to ask parents to please drop their students off instead of walking them in. For many of our students, the presence of extra adults is distracting and confusing. It makes starting the school day more difficult for them.

Here's something of note:
All doctor's and dentist's visits are excused if you bring a note from that office when students return to school. Otherwise, we have to count those absences as unexcused.
Thank you to everyone who helps us out in the offices by bringing those notes!

Hooray! Hooray! Tomorrow (08/19) is the first day of Pre-K!
Parents, please refer to the drop off page that was in your enrollment packet.
See you tomorrow starting at 7:50am!

High school football players greeted our elementary students this morning.

Hi families! As we're gearing up for the new school year, some of you may receive an email about the SPIRSS Program, which mentions the SAEBRs screener.
As a reminder, each semester teachers complete the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk screener (SAEBRs) for each of their students. Students also have the opportunity to complete one for themselves. This gives us a snapshot of how students are doing and if they might need some additional support in different areas.
You can find more information about the SAEBRs (teacher completed version) here:
https://www.illuminateed.com/products/fastbridge/social-emotional-behavior-assessment/saebrs/
You can also find more information about the mySAEBRs (student completed version) on our website here (also included in enrollment packets):
