Hello Trojan Nation! My name is Brooke McNickle and this is my second year as the Vocational Agriculture teacher at Stafford. After graduating from K-State in Dec '19, I decided to move back home to the family farm. During that year, I noticed the lack of an Ag teacher at Stafford. I felt that it is very important to have an agriculture program in the high school, especially in a farming community, so I decided to step up and fill the role. It has been such an awesome opportunity to come back to the place I graduated from to teach. In addition to teaching, I am also the FFA advisor. I look forward to many more years at Stafford!

With our extended break next week and in an effort to include as many students as possible, we are postponing our Trojan Thanksgiving meal until we come back on November 29th. Your Lunch Ladies hope everyone has a wonderful holiday break and come back to school ready for another Thanksgiving Feast!

My name is Laeny Bauman and I currently teach 8th-12th grade social studies. I also teach two classes in the Teaching and Training CTE pathway and love working with future teachers! I started at Stafford Middle and High School in 2017 after graduating from Kansas State University. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and cheering on Trojan Nation!

Greetings! My name is Jeff Heminway, and I am the high school Math and Physics Teacher. A native of Denver, Colorado, I attended Colorado School of Mines for Engineering Physics and then Regis Unversity for Software Engineering after a tour in the U.S. Air Force. The next eighteen years I spent as senior software engineer for a defense contractor. After spending thirteen years overseas and solving problems for the government in three different continents, I decided I wanted to make a difference in people's lives instead. I attended Fort Hays State in their Transition to Teaching program and have been teaching in rural Kansas for eight years. This is my third year at Stafford, and I have also enjoyed the honor of being the Scholar's Bowl Coach and advisor for National Honor's Society. I have two boys, one who just became an alumni of KU and the other is in his second year there. I would talk more about my beautiful wife, but she has her own page.
