He'll be speaking to our middle and high school students about mental health and suicide prevention. Community members are also welcome and encouraged to attend! This presentation will take place approx. 10-11am followed by some time for Q&A. Mr. Parker will also be present during lunch until noon for a meet and greet.


Students and parents: We have had several reports of theft in the last few days. Please don't bring valuables and/or excessive amounts of money to school. If you do, please be sure you are keeping those items on you and/or the items are locked up while not in your possession.

Today was spring pictures day. It's always fun for us to have the opportunity to see all our students shine!




Yesterday the art and graphic design students who submitted pieces to the Scholastic Art Competition visited the Wichita Art Museum and Mark Arts where they were given a guided tour and were able to view the pieces that won the competition.


Monkey is sad the Book Fair is only open two more days! Today's hours are 3-4 pm. Tomorrow's hours are 8-9 am and 3-4 pm. I'll be closed Friday to pack up and send it all back!


There's a few new additions to the Book Fair. I'll be open for parent/teacher conferences. Come check it out!



Stafford USD 349 Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Corey Reese as the Superintendent for the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Reese is currently the Superintendent of USD 243, Lebo Waverly. He has served as their Superintendent since July 2016. Prior to this, Mr. Reese was the Superintendent/High School Principal at USD 224, Clifton Clyde from June 2012-July 2016. He has been in Education since 1993. Mr. Reese and his wife, Janet have four sons, Derek, Brian, Kyle, and Corey Jr. " My family and I are extremely grateful to become a part of Stafford Schools. Stafford is a wonderful community. We look forward to meeting everyone and working together to support Stafford School's students and their families" says Mr. Reese.
The Board of Education says that Corey Reese emerged from a very thorough search process as the right candidate to lead the School District. The community input, including the involvement of stakeholders was a key factor in the success of the Superintendent search process. The input from the community was very helpful to the selection process.
After considering and interviewing multiple qualified candidates, Mr. Reese’s hiring was unanimously approved by the Board of Education. “As a Board, we feel we made the right selection to serve our students and our community,” says USD 349 Board President Dawn Schreiber. Mr. Reese will begin his leadership of USD 349 on July 1, 2023.


Tomorrow, Tuesday the 21st, is a half-day attendance. Students are dismissed at 12:20pm and Conferences are from 1-8pm.
There is no STARS after school program tomorrow.
