Friday morning greeting: Trojan football players greet the elementary students for high fives. HAPPY FRIDAY!
Baking and Pastries students learned to temper chocolate and created Dubai Chocolate Bars (student choice). The filling contains shredded, toasted phyllo dough, pistachio paste and tahini paste. We were quite pleased with the results!

Hooray! We have all survived the first week of school! Now that we are getting all settled in, we would like to ask parents to please drop their students off instead of walking them in. For many of our students, the presence of extra adults is distracting and confusing. It makes starting the school day more difficult for them.
Here's something of note:
All doctor's and dentist's visits are excused if you bring a note from that office when students return to school. Otherwise, we have to count those absences as unexcused.
Thank you to everyone who helps us out in the offices by bringing those notes!
