Joel Valadez and the cross country team will be leaving the school a little after 1:00pm after a sendoff for Joel. There will be a police/fire truck escort from the school up to Main Street and then to Highway 50.

We are piloting something new at tonight's football game. Hudl Fan is a new app we are hoping to use for streaming our events. You do need to create an account, there is not a fee.

Our Elementary Students are in LOVE with the milk carton skeletons that our High School Students created.
SO they will be entered in a drawing to WIN one of the skeletons.

Yesterday, the Stafford High School Men's Cross County team competed in the Heart of the Plains League meet. The team earned second place! Shout out to Coach Mark Mock, who is building up a quality program that focuses on growth and teamwork. The synergy, support, and mutual respect among this team is a joy to experience. Next up for these Trojans is Regional on Saturday, October 26 at Lake Barton Golf Club. The boys will run at 11:45 a.m. Go Trojans!








The 4th annual Middle School Science Fair will occur next Thursday, October 24th from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. during Student Lead Conferences. The projects will be located in the South Gym. Please consider stopping by and seeing the work these students have put in on their projects over the past couple of months!

8th-grade students prepared homemade breakfast pastries. They chose strawberry, blueberry, cherry, or peach fillings for their pastries. The final product is quite delicious!

Lil Trojans Daycare Assistant

Lil Trojans Daycare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare assistant to provide care for children enrolled at our facility. The assistant will be employed by USD 349 as an hourly paid employee. The assistant will act as a substitute and/or extra adult in the case of having a higher census. One of our objectives in hiring is to have a full time substitute to resume care as normal through the duration of the director’s maternity leave. Responsibilities include supervising children, implementation of age appropriate activities, ensuring safety and health protocols are followed, and maintaining open communication with the director of the facility and other administration. This position will require training to fulfill full and partial days of work.
Responsibilities:
● Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in attendance
● Supervise and facilitate age appropriate crafts and activities
● Follow state regulations and guidelines for childcare providers
● Encourage positive interactions among the children
● Use facility provided technology to log and track each child’s activities, toileting, and eating occurances.
● Communicate positively and productively with parents for scheduling, child needs, and daily reports
● Maintain a clean and orderly facility according to state regulations as well as Director expectations
● Maintain communication with Director and other Administrative figures to keep facility in order
Requirements:
● Must be able to pass background check and drug test
● Early Childhood education experience and training preferred
● Understanding of developmental stages and age appropriate material
● Effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
● Willingness to obtain certifications and trainings needed for licensing guidelines
