Space to Grieve
Grieving the death of a loved one is never easy, but Hospice & Home Care of Reno County offers a “Space to Grieve” camp for children 6-17 years of age to provide some coping skills.
The annual Space to Grieve Kids Kamp will be held at the Cosmosphere on June 14, 2025, at no cost to families.
Kids Kamp is a bereavement camp filled with a combination of activities for children to process their grief alongside peers who share similar experiences. The Cosmosphere instructors also provide interactive activities for participants throughout the day.
Any child who has experienced the death of a family member, friend, or other significant person in their life can attend free of charge, thanks to funding provided by United Way of Reno County, as well as local civic clubs and merchants.
Slots are limited, please RSVP early in order for your child to get a t-shirt.

There will be an interest/parent meeting for 25-26 MS Volleyball AND Basketball (summer league forms will be handed out) on Wednesday April 16th 5:15pm in the Commons area. Immediately following there will be a MS cheerleader/parent meeting for the 25-26 squad.

On this 'Would You Rather Wednesday', there is a CLEAR winner!

🚨Exciting Announcement!! 🚨
The Kansas Board of Regents is thrilled to recognize Stafford High School for its commitment to guiding students toward postsecondary success!
🎉 Students at Stafford receive dedicated support in completing college and/or job applications, seeking financial aid, and celebrating all postsecondary pathways.
🎉 This annual initiative fosters a lasting college-going culture, empowering the entire school community to champion students’ futures!

Had some fun with the 6th graders today. We read about the Lirpa Loof that is migrating from Montana to the East Coast. If you stand outside with a marshmallow in your hand, hold your hand above your head, and call out, "Lirpa Loof!" "Lirpa Loof!" the birds will swoop down and eat the marshmallow.
Just so you know, "lirpa loof" backward is April Fool.

Activities for the week:
3/31/25 - MS Scholars Bowl @ Fairfield - 4:00pm
4/3/25 - HS Golf @ Stafford Golf Course - 3:00pm
