Parents and Students:
Please know, school districts must comply with the following Federal Order (state and local governments, including the Board of Education, do not have the authority to override.)
Federal Order: Section 5302 of Title 49
Passengers and drivers must wear a mask on school buses, (including other school vehicles) operated by public and private school systems.
Exemptions to this order are:
· Child who is under the age of 2
· Persons with disabilities who cannot safely wear a mask
· Person for whom wearing a mask would create a risk to workplace health or safety.
Possible Penalty for non-compliance: Federal funding revoked
