Trojan Wall of Fame

Dylan B. - Wrestling

“Dylan has grown a ton this year on the mat after being out his full freshman year. He's overcome a lot to get back to 100% healthy with nothing broken and it has not been an easy task the last 12 months for him. He battled all year in the #190 class with some good wins including the #1 kid in our region. His most recent win came at regionals and it punched his ticket to state. His resilience and hard work paid off! Dylan did a great job all season being a great leader in the sportsmanship area of the high and lows of the grind and being a good teammate. Good Job Dylan!” - Coach Jimmy Brozek

Trynity P. - Wrestling

“Trynity has been a great addition to the team this year competing in the #170 class. She grew and worked hard all season with a great coachable attitude! She shows up everyday with a want to get better and it translated several times this year in competition! She has jumped into a new sport fearlessly and will climb the ranks going forward! Great job Trynity and keep up the hard work!” - Coach Jimmy Brozek

Axel O. - Wrestling

“Axel did a great job this year and ended the season 16-11! Axel has shown growth and dedication all 4 years as a varsity wrestler and has been fun to watch grow! He's always been a great teammate and coachable kid! As an only senior boy he did a great job leading the underclassmen on how to work in the room! It's been a pleasure to watch you grow and become the man you are! Enjoy retirement from wrestling, you earned it!” - Coach Jimmy Brozek

Connor W. - High School TSA

“Connor Wiley has grown his own skills immensely this year while quietly supporting and encouraging his peers - both locally and at statewide functions - to grow as well. While intently working on his own project, he will hear a question from a middle schooler and respond immediately with helpful advice and suggestions. Always with patience and completeness. We are incredibly proud of his hard work and determination to learn, but we are even more impressed by his thoughtful leadership and mentoring.” - Mr. & Mrs. Heminway

The Entire Crew - Middle School TSA

“The middle school TSA members include Jaxon, Charley, Ian, Wylie, Emmitt, Mason, and Eli. They have pulled together, starting from the very basics and worked collaboratively to complete their project for state. They are welcoming to newcomers, always enthusiastic and infallibly kind in their dealings with each other. Critique and corrections are super important to coding effectively - this group has been exceptional at both giving and receiving feedback as well as implementing the necessary changes.” - Mr. & Mrs. Heminway

Freshmen Crew - Yearbook

“Our three freshmen staff members, Aubrey, Emma, and Joel, have risen to every challenge put in front of them. They cheerfully figure out complex solutions to wonky photos, step in at the last minute, execute directions and make last minute pivots like professional journalists. They help each other out, dig around in the software until they find a way that works and always, always represent our school beautifully. It has been a privilege to work with them this year, but especially this winter season as they find their own and advocate for their own skills and designs.” - Mrs. Heminway

Dominic R. - Student of the Month

“Dominic has shown tremendous personal growth since I first had him in my class in the 8th grade. I appreciate his willingness to help when he sees that things need to be done, including helping Mrs. Kocher prepare food for the concession stand. I can tell that Dominic is taking his plans after high school seriously and giving them careful consideration as to how they will impact his future. My favorite memories of Dominic are from 7th hour when he can't stop laughing - even when it involves encouraging his classmates to sing (thanks for that Dominic).” - Mrs. Unruh

“I am so glad that Dominic Rios became a Trojan. He has been an asset to our school community. I appreciate his ability to help others through tough times; he is empathic and caring.  I will miss him when he graduates, but I look forward to watching Dominic as he becomes a successful, independent adult. Put your shades on; Dominic's future is bright!” - Mrs. Lowther

“Dominic’s willingness to help with the preparation of items for the concession stand is very much appreciated. Dominic is a hard working individual that takes great pride in a job well done. He sets a good example for other students. The concession stand is a big part of sports activities and Dominic is a huge part of making the concession stand successful. Thank you, Dominic, for all your hard work!” - Mrs. Kocher

“Dominic is so amazingly reliable. When you ask him for help, he is there for you. He has a laid back sense of humor that I know lightens my day. He has a strong work ethic.  He has been helping with concession prep all year plus working on the weekends. Dominic has plans for his future and they sound wonderful.” - Ms. Barstow
