Training To Lead

"Training To Lead" is a program at Stafford High School in which high school students are given homeless dogs from the Pratt Animal Shelter in Pratt, Kansas.  The dog lives with the student for one semester.  The dog is trained by the student to perform basic commands.  At the end of the semester, the dog is given to a service animal organization.  The dog will then go to live with someone who is disabled and help them with their disability.
